Terms Entered in Search Tools
When a visitor enters a name, place, or other term into a search box, the query is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. St. Clair County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s privacy practices govern the query once it is submitted.
Messages Sent to Us
An email or contact-form message may be retained long enough to read, route, and answer it. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this service can receive routine technical and usage details with each page request. Those details may include:
- The internet protocol address associated with the request.

- Pages viewed and time spent on them.
- The referring website, when one is supplied.

Advertising partners may use their own technologies to recognize activity across different sites and select interest-based ads. That tracking takes place through the partner’s systems, not through a database of search terms stored by St. Clair County Released Inmates.
